Latinos and other people of color will likely continue voting for the Democratic party for two reasons: (1) Republicans focus on GDP and growth, which does not help the working class. Their policies are hostile to the working class and the poor and (2) many Latinos acknowledge their ethnic identity and want to be treated, not as "soon to be whites", but uniquely Puerto Rican, Mexican, etc...or at the very least Hispanic. Democrats at least see Hispanics as deserving of their own identity.
